The Clapham House Group is pleased to announce that on 29 November 2004 it acquired the entire issued share capital of Wisconsin UK Limited, which trades as Gourmet Burger Kitchen.

GBK operates six restaurants in Battersea, West Hampstead, Putney, Fulham, Chiswick and Bayswater, and currently has a number of further locations in London under offer. GBK offers a variety of 23 Burgers including beef, chicken, lamb, venison and chorizo, as well as three types of vegetarian burgers and junior beef and chicken burgers for children.

The Directors of Clapham House believe the acquisition of GBK is an exciting third stage in fulfilling their investment strategy and look forward to working with GBK's management team and staff to expand the business significantly and in developing the opportunity this will present for everyone involved.
